Kubikenborg Aluminium AB is Sweden's only producer of primary aluminum and one of the largest industrial companies in Sundsvall. The factory, built in 1942, has a capacity to produce 130,000 tons of aluminum per year. The final product, in the form of ingots, is delivered to rolling mills and presses across Europe.

Kubal currently has 460 employees.

We are looking for you who are trained as a maintenance mechanic or have similar work experience, preferably from manufacturing or process industries. Requirements include experience or education equivalent to upper secondary school level. You are accustomed to working proactively and have a quality-focused approach to work.

As a person, you are service-oriented, proactive, and flexible. You are driven by developing yourself and the company, and you have good teamwork skills. Good physical fitness is required as the work may involve working at heights. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to see opportunities and improvements are highly valued traits.

Good communication skills in both Swedish and English, both verbal and written, are required.

We also expect you to be proficient in computer use.

Main responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance in a safe and efficient manner.
• Conduct condition checks of equipment.
• Work with 5S to maintain order and cleanliness in the work area.
• Perform equipment assembly in a professional manner.
• Work with the maintenance system and report according to the work order flow.
• Actively participate in root cause analyses.

The job requires basic welding skills. Knowledge of hydraulics is advantageous, and knowledge or experience with pneumatics is a plus.

The position is a day shift, full-time role with immediate start.

Fixed-term contract until 2026-08-31 with possibility of extension.
